The Youth4Peace Portal is a multi-stakeholder partnership launched last year between the United Nations Development Programme - UNDP, the UN Peacebuilding Support Office (PBSO), Search for Common Ground (SfCG) and the United Network of Young Peacebuilders (UNOY), working together through the IANYD Working Group on Youth & Peacebuilding.
It supports the implementation of the United Nations Security Council Resolution 2250, which is the first international policy framework that recognizes the positive role young people play in preventing and resolving conflict, countering violent extremism and building peace. By creating a profile, the portal aims to provide young people with an interactive experience by not only having access to the latest news, events, and key resources for young people to participate in peacebuilding, but also take part in online consultations, share ideas, collaborate on common projects and much more!
